For anyone who missed Barack Obama’s speech at the Constitution Center in Philadelphia this morning, I encourage you to take the time to watch or read it here.
We all owe it to ourselves to get past the 30 second soundbites and the opinions of the pundits. We owe it to ourselves to absorb Obama’s thoughts on race, the legacy of slavery, the history of our nation, and hope for healing.
His speech lasts just under 38 minutes. It doesn’t solve anything, but it is a good place to begin and to continue…
